With their Malmö-based brand, designers Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome stormed onto the Swedish fashion scene with elegance last spring. They came from nowhere, or so it seemed. In reality, the duo had spent years absorbing Italian handicraft, design and quality. The result is a welcome injection of international flare that raises the bar for every designer coming after them.

NYC <3 Sweden:
Carin Rodebjer moved back to the city where her fashion story began. Acne presented their first NYC show. Johan Lindeberg made an impressive comeback with his new brand BLK DNM. And jewelery designer Efva Attling opened her first US store in the Meatpacking Disctrict. Sweden is taking a huge bite of the Big Apple – the city is ready to give up. A true fashion love story.

Nhu Duong:
