The Berndt – Exclusive Downloads

THE BERNDT
From Sweden’s Little London, also known as Gothenburg, come five youngsters dressed in colorful pop punk outfits to create music under the name The Berndt. They call themselves a live band, offering energetic live performances, pretty outstanding for a new band with only a few years of experiences.
Watch a fine example here

The music of Swedish The Berndt spans between the genres of rock, punk, pop and funk. Like most new music today, it’s hard to assign a specific genre. But there is no reason really; The Berndt is a great example of the copy/paste culture we live in. The music feels very 80s but at the same point a bit 90s.
The Berndt picks bits and pieces from the past decade to create colorful pop of today.
The powerful falsetto leads the bouncy drums and funky guitars into a series of happy-go-lucky punk pop. The debut GBGBG was released by indie label Pop Hat Music in January 2010.
The first single “ Hurried Feathers” was great received among music blogs and radio stations worldwide, which lead to a European promotion tour earlier this year.
The Swede Beat Magazine is happy to share three exclusive downloads of The Berndt’s single “Walked for the Future”, including two fabulous remixes to bring some flavor to this rock disco hybrid.
